Fort Worth International Tournament - Oct 18, 2008
The International Tournament has been a staple in our schools attendance to tournaments. This year we took 10 students to the tournament and came back with 12 medals. For a few, this was their first tournament. The results are as follows:
Kellen Carter: 2nd in Sparring
Connor McCain: 2nd in Sparring and 2nd in Forms
Caitlyn McBride: 2nd in Sparring
Rebekah Davenport: 1st in Forms and 1st in Sparring
Ashli Takashima: 2nd in Forms and 3rd in Sparring
David Wolfchief: 3rd in Sparring
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL COMPETITORS! Despite injuries, our students were resilient and steadfast.
Junior Olympics Results
Combat Martial Arts Academy congratulates Estefania Silva for coming home with two medals: 2nd in sparring and 2nd in forms and Symbolene King with a 3rd place medal for point sparring. These young ladies represented the school well.

Combat Martial Arts comes home with 5 Medalists
Congratulations to this years AAU Competitors. This was Rebekah and Ashli's first years competing at the AAU Nationals and Symbolene and David are returning medalists. Rebekah fought her way to two gold medals in olympic sparring and gracefully to first in forms, while Ashli kicked her way to her gold medal and shined in her bronze medal finish in forms. Symbolene hammered herself into the bronze medal place in her point sparring match and David charged his way into the gold medal standing in olympic sparring.
